About Me

A few fun facts about me:
I’m a nature nerdBy day, you’ll find me adventuring throughout the streams and forests of Pennsylvania. For over a decade, I’ve worked in wildlife and fisheries and have been so privileged to spend time in so many stunning landscapes across the Allegheny National Forest and beyond. From timber rattlesnakes to freshwater mussels, I’ve gotten to work with some pretty interesting animals and even more interesting people.
a motorheadI grew up racing dirt-bikes with my dad at the local track and while my racing days are past, I still love riding. My hubby Tyler and I enjoy snowmobiling, four-wheeling, dirt-biking and taking our Trans Am on Sunday drives. While I wouldn’t necessarily say we’re adrenaline junkies, we definitely get a kick out of going fast.
And I love photography-it runs deepI love looking back at old family photo albums because growing up in the 90’s and early 2000’s, cameras weren’t as advanced as they are today and photographs weren’t nearly as curated (what perfect Instagram feed?). I fondly look at these photos because many of them are so candid and truly freeze the moment in time. Additionally, every time I go visit my grandparents, they pull out some cool, old photos from storage. These photos bridge the generation gaps and help fill in the family history. My grandma has been so meticulous in writing little details on the backsides, writing everyone’s names, the year, and what was going on or a funny caption. I’ve learned so much about my family’s history through these little moments studying these photos. That’s what I want to do for you. Not only do I want to capture and celebrate the sweet adventures life brings, but I also want to help you go beyond this digital world by printing these moments, so that they can be passed down to the generations to come.
Meet the rest of my crew:
Tyler: He’s my God-given man and a Yamaha guy through and through. When he’s not motoring around, he’s spending time with our family, building things for our house in the woods and enjoying the little moments that come with each new season.
Yenko: He’s our beautiful, blue-tick coonhound that found us. He’s sweet, stubborn, and always follows his nose. Yenko is Tyler’s best plowing buddy and in case you’re wondering, he’s named after a car.
